Then join ML4Q Undergraduate Research Internship Program and get hands – on experience in one of our groups in Aachen, Bonn, Cologne, Düsseldorf or Jülich.
‘Matter and Light for Quantum Computing (ML4Q)’ is an Excellence Cluster funded within the Excellence Strategy by the German Research Foundation (DFG). It is a cooperation by the universities of Cologne, Aachen, Bonn and Düsseldorf, as well as the Forschungszentrum Jülich. The aim of ML4Q is to develop new computing and networking architectures using the principles of quantum mechanics. At the same time ML4Q helps to train the next generation of scientists and engineers in quantum technology.
For summer 2023 we offer up to seven 10-12 weeks long research internships in one of ML4Q groups. Accepted students in addition to getting familiar with research being done in our cluster, will have a chance to participate in the seminars and other ML4Q meetings at different location. This way they can meet other students and scientist and start to build their professional network. As all the international students will be enrolled at the University of Cologne, they can also profit from the various offers and get an insights into students’ life in Germany.
Detailed information about the program (including requirements & provided support) can be found on our website. https://ml4q.de/ml4q-internship/
